All our forthcoming events are listed below. Borders Birstall regularly hosts a wide range of events from book signings to author talks, reading groups to children’s craft activities, not forgetting Children's Storytime, every Saturday and Sunday. In 2009 we promise to bring you an exciting calendar of book signings and instore events, Our store is open until late and if you have an idea for a group or event that we haven't yet provided then just let us know, we want our store to be at the hub of the community reflecting your interests. Every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm, there are craft activities and story time sessions in our award winning children's department. We are more than happy to visit schools with story time sessions, craft activities and are always interested in helping you with book fairs and fund raising events. Perhaps you are a local author, playgroup or business that would like to host an event in our store? if so call Mike Higgins to find out how we can help. We know you love your Rugby and have brought you some great signings this year from Jamie Peacock, Peter Fox, Maurice Bamford and Gary Schofield. We have lots more rugby and sport themed events in the pipeline so keep an eye on our listings for further details. Starbucks is the ideal venue for any group or business meeting. Call ahead and we can reserve seating for you. If you are a local action or community group that would like to use our space and be provided with refreshments, just give us a call and we can arrange that for you. We are especially interested in setting up the following groups - New Mums, Baby and Toddler, Knitting Circles, Homework Clubs for Kids, Language Classes and Kids and Teenage book groups.
